i wrote this while i was in the military approx 3 years ago

Time is ticking like the eternal clock of doom. It keeps ticking slower and faster just to drive you insane, Faster when you dont want it to and it practically stops when you are depending on it. Time is a torture device invented by the sadistic to prey on the mundane and multiply the insane. Everything depends on time to run its normal course, without time there would be chaos but alas with thime there is even more chaos. Time itself is truly a devious device. Time heals, Time kills, Time erodes, Time builds, Time maddens and time saddens, Time is born and Time dies, the past is the past and the future is the future, there is no present only past, the present is the fleeting seconds, eternally cursed to the past never presentonly time will decide all things live long die quick go with time or rage against it either way time will decide

I love it. I like the way it doesn't all rhyme, very deep. i've thought about time before. I decided. It sucks. And it's great, pretty much what you wrote down!

i think of time as a river.
fast moving and sometimes the undercurrent will sweep you away, but if you spend lots of time perfecting a canoe. you will have a pleasant sailing experience.
