Grunge + Abstract

the first one is made with ggrungebrushes, no renders. took 20 min. I think, and there should be about 13 layers in there, I know it looks rather flat, but I don't have time to fix that at the moment. I started making the second one with nothing but grunge-brushes, but ended up with an abstract brush/renderbg xD I guess it's a little bit out of both. Took about 25-30 min. of spare time ^^ I'm aware of that bith of them are missing borders, but I don't really care, since it's the brushing that matters.
I would like some comments and critique works just as fine :huh:

i love the first, although itd grunge its looks kinda abstract, i love it - 8.6/10

second is ok but i dont like the crystal on the left, its sticks out too much.. the ice effect is cool though ( get it, cool ) hehe.. umm 8.2/10

would you mind telling me where you got the brushes you used in the first??

I love the brushing on both of them. The red one just looks a little cloudy though. And the render isn't too visible.

But the blue one *jaw drops* Fantastic, depth, colour and effects all rock. The style is also very good, tech / abstract / grunge which seems to fit nicely, which is surprising for such a dwide range. The text is good, it isn't invisible but stands out a fair bit. All they need is a pixel border

deep blue: I know there is a little gap between the crystal and the rest, I'll try make it float more with the rest ^^ thx.
crofty: first of all. I also think the render isn't that visible in the first one, hmm, maybe that's because I haven't got one in it?! xD if you read the text far up you'll see. thank you for the comments on the second one too, I'll fix those borders alright.

great job, i like the blue one better as said: make a pixel border and make the ´big crystal like the others

Well, I got some updates, and I'd like to know what you think of them, I litsened to your critique, and I tried my best. And btw, I just wanted to try something new with something I made myself with the grunge, red one, so you know, I wasn't that serious xP. well, here they are:

and i think that you should use more of your drawed pic in the red one

lol thanks, I know, deep blue, that they don't fit that well, but when I moved them to the right side of the pic it looked a lot better. Maybe I'll make a sig out of it, It's fun to have your own pics in them :P

I actually like the first blue one better, the crysta. makes it look wicked. That first blue one is great, i dont like the red one much. The sencond blue is alright. The second red is a big improvement from the first red one.

First blue one... 9/10

First red one...7/10

Sceond blue one....8/10

Second red one....7.8/10
