cnc plz?

2/10 it's just brushing + bad text, nothing special
-
That's harsh..
Don't ever use bevel on the text, DON'T EVER USE IT!!! And the reflectiveness is pretty good. Bleh.. it's just another sig with brushing.. :/
-
I Think The Text Ruins It But Other Than That Its Good

It looks quite flat, particularly along the top, you should add more contrast. That poor, lonely text in the middle there seems very confused. Imo, it's a bit small to be a focal point (right words? =\ and a bit big to be just a name..
-
I know im rlly bad at text, i just put it there for identification i guess. i wanna start makin sigs without renders so this was just a start =/ how could i add some depth to it?

changed the text a lil =/

To add depth you create a new Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer and take the contrast slider up a bit... or just play about with the sliders as you want. There are probably other ways but that's the one i remember and use most often.

To give it depth add a light source. Then brighten up parts and darken parts with a soft brush and different blending modes. Then make a new layer on top of everything and go to Image>Apply Image. Now dodge and burn this new layer and change blending modes and opacity settings. Hope that helped.
One thing you'll have to keep in mind in the future is flow. This tag just looks like random brushing with no direction.
Text...As far as blending options, all I use is Drop Shadow, Color Overlay, or Gradient Overlay. Usually I don't use any, and I just use a simple default font like Arial or Tahoma. Try using all caps or all lower case letters. Just remember to be original and try new ideas out.

added the contrast layer and some lighting ^^

To have depth you should have light and dark areas (white and dark areas)
