The simple answer is: nothing at all. It is well known that people are distracted by readable text, so when displaying a typeface, publishers use lipsum to make people focus on the typeface and not on the content. Additionally, lipsum has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters as is seen in English. This also helps to get people to not concentrate on the content.

As for the actual template:
I think overall its not bad looking, but it does not flow very well, i dont know if thats because there are parts missing or the fact that are are a number of colours there that do not mix well such as the greens and purples. I also think it would look better with some sort of border or background at the sides, and then centre the layout. Or maybe do the same tot he right as you have to the left with that grey border.

If you could fix it up and spend some more time on it I think it would be much better.
