Try looking and some templates you really like and base your ideas off them.

Because you are just starting off I would recommend making some simple pieces, i did the same.

I disagree, that could very easily be used. Not everyone uses affiliates.

It doesn&#39;t matter if the links are limited, if that&#39;s all that he wants.

I like it. Nice and simple, gets the point across. Kind of reminds me of mine, just without the smaller box in the content spot. (Link is in sig.) I&#39;d say if you made the content box the whole width, it&#39;d be better.
