Must agree. Huge CS 1.6 fan and also trying to design a clansite...

unfortunately, mines not going as well as your's is!

It's great and I'd love to see the finished site, though I have one suggestion.

The logo and the header image (render and bg) don't flow too well with each other, IMO. I also think it's strange how the white to black gradient is kind of "slapped" in the middle of the banner. I think the color scheme should match the navigation.

Man, I thought the logo seemed a little lonely and small when I saw just that alone. But now,... LovelY &#33; I love everything about the things you&#39;ve done, nothing to complain about BUT .. - the username and password- fields ( don&#39;t really like the dropshadow inside the boxes - great job, Keep it up &#33;&#33;&#33;

lol no i don&#39;t ^^
but you&#39;re right, effort gaming is a multigaming clan, so i&#39;m gonna make the design also for counterstrike source, halo and battlefield2 in the future. And if we find enough ppl we&#39;re gonna add world of warcraft, warcraft3, quake etc.

yes, the dropshadow maybe looks a bit simple. But the login section might just be there for the moment, i don&#39;t know if the boxes are going to be only coding or not

I (unlike the others who responded to this thread) understand what you are saying.

(BFG Correct me if I&#39;m wrong...I don&#39;t want to put words in your mouth.)

He&#39;s saying the logo looks fine if efforT Gaming is going to have a multi-game site. (and the answer is yes) So what BFG is saying is...

When a visitor is viewing different game titles, the logo stays in place, but the left side of the banner "Counter Strike 1.6" changes according to the game.

Kinda like a locked in place logo...


Now...
What I meant by "slapped" in place was the curvy part with the pixelated gradient to the left of the logo doesn&#39;t seem to flow with the site. It kinda looks like you just put it there just because.

and I still don&#39;t think the navigation bar really matches the rest of the site. I think it&#39;s too blocky (which isn&#39;t a bad thing) and the rest of the site is too curvy (which isn&#39;t a bad thing). The problem is they don&#39;t go well together. And the whole color scheme is throwing me off.

Hope you don&#39;t mind the "harsh opinion"
