The grass is a stock image from www.sxc.hu, forgot to mention that.
The planet is built up by satellite images from NASA.

Something like that yes, a few days later I got my tablet. Currently training to do more advanced space scenes.

yeah it's cool except the brushing around the light source is weird being all grungy.. but the rest of it is well done, nice job bro'

The grass looks way to sharp, and the clouds look a bit dodgey. And that random bursh at the top dont look to good either, apart from that i think it looks quite good

You have the skill to do it, but the planning seems quite bad, it just looks like another peice of "Space art". The contrast levels are pretty different, and also the nebula thing.. looks very strange and lacks depth, also, it would be MUCH further away, as would the planet, and it would be harder too see. If anything was that close ( especially a nebula ) we'd be dead. But i like the actual graphics, layout isn't too good

The grass is as I said stock images, and the grass hasn't been manipulated at all, except that some of the brushes covers the top of the grass (oops).

Thanks for the comments, I will put down more time and effort on the art from now on.

Very nice. It's nice to look at but to me, the planet looks a bit out of place.
Maybe it needs to be a bit more "crisp". Dale brought up some good points.
Overall, it looks pretty good man.

I had a hard time finding a texture that wasn't to blurry, that might be because the stock images for www.sxc.hu is user submitted, I'll try some from mayang next time.
