Its natural instict to view people, put them in groups in your mind. You have people you are close to, people you are not close to. People you like, people you hate. Everybody views people differently.

Yeah people are often viewed upon by their dress sense/music taste but what else would happen? everybody would be different, friends would have nothing in common, nothing to talk about, nothing to relate to and life would be very boring.

Say you got what you want and people were not labeled (sp?) you would end up with rockers hanging with chavs, seen as though they have totally different views they would disagree a lot and end up arguing a lot. Yeah wouldnt that be great?

And it is stereotypical but music taste often defines a person, sure its not true in every case but different groups of friends have the same taste of music, same taste in clothing etc. And you can often tell what people are like by how they act, their clothing etc. If i saw somebody walking down the street dressed as a goth, i would think 'weirdo' mainly because they dress totally different to me and wearing stuff with chains/nails etc in seems totally weird to me. And im sure they would think the same about me with hoodies etc.
And people act the way they do mainly do to their friends so they can fit in. If all your friends dress like a goth you wouldn't go out with those dressed as a cahv or you would feel odd, if your friends were bricking some windows most likely you would stick around or join in so you fit in.

and you obviously label people, you labeld chavs as vandalising and enjoying suffering, i would be classed as a chav i dont vandalise often and dont enjoy people suffering.

Me thinks thats badly put etc. but it makes sense haha

And as for the computers = geek thing. Its how society has changed, if you are on the PC a lot, it means you are not out, which means you are most likely to not be with friends, if you dont see friends alot people automatically think you dont have many, people without many friends are normally weird around other people because they are not used to interacting with people expect friends so they would be nervous and seem weird. Supose geek is just a word for that. And that is not really true, i am either out or on the PC i dont watch TV or anything else inside the house so i am on the PC like 12hours a day if i am not out, but other days i am out for 12hours with friends, its about not going out with friends more than being on the PC a lot.

So no people do not suck, its how you view them that sucks.
