    Default Love tree

You remember that old tree sketch I posted ages ago in the traditional art forum? Maybe not, but today I found the painting that I never finished. So I finished it. Or at least it feels finished to me. But c+c is welcome.
And yes, the letters are the initials of my girlfriend and me, tihi!

By some reason the original isn't in a very high resolution (1821x2424, 600 dpi), so I don't know how big this will be if I print it.. But I can always redo it in a bigger resolution since I have the sketch in huuuuuge format from my dad's work's scanner. Maybe this could be a birthday gift for my gf? :/

Edit: Fixed the resolution. It's now in A3. :P

I remember the sketch That's wicked man, i can imagine the tree groaning in the fog. I love the detail on the trunk. And the grass around it looks really good aswell If anything, all i would say, is that you should be able to see the other trees really faintly, behind the main tree, but up high. As you can see them at the sides.

    Nice work dude

    - And i think this would be a lush birthday gift, if only you could somehow emphasise that it's for her, without making it look fake and weird ( the heart ). You could make it glow the same colour as the *fairies?* . as if shining from the centre of the tree... but i dunno

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I could probably put some tree silhouettes (how the HELL do you spell that word?!?!) behind the big tree. Could add some more depth perhaps. :]

You spelt it correctly and yeah, that'd just make it seem a little more realistic, as you have the silhouttes for those trees at the sides, just not ontop
