used rabies tut.
thought i might post some results :P

i mixed up the channel bit a little though... i took two channels and used a mask to merge the two... one made the clouds look better, one made the ground look better... so i just did a combo XDD

I LOVE THIS BRO', the way the clouds merge off and then into the border is amazing.. it makes it seem so open which is followed by your use of a long range of view.. i really do love this.. is it on DA?

I think if you would have done some editing to the color version, it would be alot better then the desat. one! 
The colors are amazing, just needs some contrast, and levels fixed.

Yeah right now i think its to dull, nothing really catches my eye, needs some contrast.

The sky is very bright. It needs to be a little more dramatic! Do you have a point and shoot camera? Try to point it at the sky to see what I mean.

Ill work on it, i couldnt get the sky to get very dark though, it was fairly light as it was.

and yeah i tried to get somewhat of an effect earlier on.. but it didnt look like it went with the peice... lol i have a photomaniped version where i removed the clouds... which is a bit more dramatic.. but i liked this as itwas... i just wish the clouds were different on the day we went XD.

You need pretty blue sky to get the dark effect. Or else not much will happen. :P
