Cs Source.

Hey, just wondering who has source, who plays often.
And what is a good video card that i can buy for around 50$ that can properly run it.
i have an intel chip base set. But my pc has a pretty nice processor to run it.

Fuck source, play 1.6. Source is the "eyecandy" training wheels version of 1.6. They increased the size of headshot hitboxes and made better ragdoll physics and worse recoil physics. You can randomly spray with the para on fully auto and the recoil won't kick in at all and you'll find yourself getting random headshots.

I know ben (headshot) used to play quite a bit, but i never really got into it. If you're gunna buy a video card to play that, you might as well just play F.E.A.R. and other games. OR, spend like 30-40 bucks on top of that and play battlefield 2 + cod2.

I play Source non-stop, but yea it is way different from 1.6, either way i still think it's fun =P
btw you can use just about any vid card to play, i've played on a comp that had a GeForce 4MX, and that's really crappy =P

i have a friend that says all his source games run maxed out on a geforce 6800 card, so anything higher is eye candy goodness

hahaha cs source actually blows compared to 1.6, but it's still fun to play.. i'm waiting for the new release of cs when hl3 comes out..

Yes, 1.6 owns all, but I'm just waitin for this "CS zero" or whatever they are gonna call it. I've just heard rumors so far but it's supposed to be the physics and recoil of 1.6 with the graphics and ragdoll of source. I admit source is fun for the odd game, but 1.6 is so much more pro. I went into a source server the other day at a internet cafe just for kicks and was up to like a 57/2 score in twenty mins. Easy crap
