method, i don't understand you're problem? you've got a rounded border, and you could turn that into a transparent frame... what else could you possibly want?

Lol, I don't know. I messed something up.
Here's what it looks like now. Everything is on Layer 11.

I delete that layer and I have nothing but an empty transparent canvas.

    Thanks.

if you're trying to get a transparent frame...

    1) you shouldn't have put them all on one layer, you should have used the white frame as a CTRL+click selection to delete from the main image.

    2) now what you're going to have to do is use the magic wand tool at a tolerance of 1 or 2, click the white layer, and then hit the delete key. save it as a png or gif since you can't use transparency with a jpg.

hope that worked. i really don't know how you ended up like you did...

Don't merge all the layers and just delete the white layer, simple.

Dark Method, I think you're missing a vital understanding of computer graphics. They must be rectangles, you can not have an image with non-rectangular bounds. So what you're trying to do is make a rectangular image, but the white frame would either be the same color as the background you're going to put the image on, or it's going to be transparent and in effect do the exact same thing.

So here's what you're going to do. You're going to follow the instructions in my earlier post, except you're going to use a lime green color instead of white (which i recommend). If your image has green in it, then use a hot pink. you're picking a color that you can remove later using the magic wand, so pick something that isn't similar to the colors in your image. flatten the entire image. make a new layer and fill it with white. move the flattened layer above the new white layer. make the white layer invisible by clicking the eye. now, using the magic wand tool set to 1-2 tolerance select the lime green frame and delete it. that's it. you've now got a rectangular image that will appear to be rounded when seen. all you have to do now is save it as PNG or Gif MAKE SURE TRANSPARENCY IS CHECKED. then post your work up here, so we can see it.
