Blue screen problem?

Any body ever had a blue screen error after you have installed a new hardware in ur computer? like a new card or ram? i got a 1gig ram installed on my compter and whenever it is used a lot i get an error on a blue screen. it says if u got this error the first time contact ur new hardware support and if u have had this error before un install the hardware. it doesn't really do anything to my computer other than shutting it down. when i restart it everything is where i left it. if you have had this problem and know a way to fix it without uninstalling the ram plz tell me. thanks in advance.

I get the same problem when I try to upload pictures from my camera. It only works if I use the exact usb port that I first installed it on. Sorry I don't know how to help ya. I need help with this problem too.

It means your stick of memory is bad. return it to the company you bought it from.

Yeah ive been gettin a Stop 0xD1 ( driver problem ) for about a week.

Of course the pc is new and custom built, so all the drivers are new. So Im not exactly gona just uninstall everything am I =/

By the thread title I thought you meant a video bluescreen.. :P I've had this too. But not any longer. Weird.

I get that. Only after i turn my computer off of standby... any other time it's fine... hmm
