my band's template.

yeah, don't ask about the name, we were just fuckin around ^^
the problem is, i cant get it to work with tables, so i had to resort to using one big image and then using that thing in macromedia where you select a region of the page and turn it into a hyperlink. its turned out okay, but it'll be a mega pain in the arse to update later.
because of this, i'd like to know how to get a loading page... like when you navigate to the index, a little loading animation will pop up, and when the image is done, it'll load up the site.
i hope you know what i'm talking about. ^^
PS this is from about 5 ish months ago, and i thought i'd try my hand at it again.
PPS what i'm mainly looking for is a better way to lay out the site, rather than using the one-big-image-with-selected-regions-for-hyperlinks thing.

the layout is PIMP
I can't help you though, sorry. I'm a noob when it comes to making websites in PS/Macromedia.

Centre layout and have a feather around edges. It goes into white to quickly... Just really annoys me... *Shivers*
Disks are always full. It is futile to try to get more disk space. Data expands to fill any void.

cool colors if you were on lsd. not really in my opinion very good choice of coloring. is this a rainbow kind of band ? fix the sides.

thanks for the critique, but i'm pretty happy with the design at the moment.

should i slice it? are there any other ways to lay it out?
-
Slice it, make the text links.
I did a large ass tut on it, its around somewhere unless it got broke which it did, think i fixed it though
-
Equally, however, once it is sliced it's a bastard to edit too...
If the font's that important, use a flash overlay of a bgimage or something like that. Otherwise, use a different font.
