nice. maybe if you tried less to have it make sense, eg the ground and sky, and just did abstract brushing on the bg mighta turned out better. my real thing is that the render isnt blended but thats the thing, you cant really on a pic like that. ilike it tho. 7/10 based on the image!

Wow thta's really good. except the colouring comes out of the lines a bit. But apart from that excellent, good colours, nbice character, simple but good bg, and i like the text quite a lot too.

Improvements: Make it look like the rend is actually stood on thebg, instead of just hovering over the 'floor' bit. And just the neatness of colouring....

But apart from that really good - 8.6/10

also try darkening the edges of it where it catches light form the original bg, so it doesnt look like there should be a light somewhere. and if you made a drop shadow on the ground!!! that wold be freeking amazing!

Yes good job, but the character looks rather "flat" with no shadow, try and maybe give him a drop shadow in the layer styles menu. Out of interest, who is that character? Because you couldn't have chosen a better character.

Show us so we can see how you can improve. I am sure there is a way to get a good drop shadow. It would be a real shame if we couldn't improve on it. Its a good piece.

yeah, i started making another from scratch as i forgot to save this one casue i thought it was kinda bad, then i didnt save that one either - not even as a png

i was making a new wallpaper in c4d and it turned out totally amazing (imo) and i rendered it in 1024x768 but my free version (legal) from a mag can only render upto 600x400 i was puzzled for ages, then i emailed maxon and they told me
