I am considering buying an X-Box and if I were to get it I'd want X-Box live. But, here's the question. I want to play xbox live in my basement where I have a wireless PC card for my internet downstairs from the main comp upstairts. I want to know that it's possible to connect my xbox to the comp downstairs with the wireless card before I buy it.
Otherwise, what would I do if it needed to connect upstairs?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

You can not put the card in the xbox. You could by a wireless adapter for the xbox to connect to your wireless network. Or you could just hookup your xbox to the router using a normal ethernet cord. The adapter is quite epansive though.
Adapter

I think the adapter is like $100 bucks...so..I wouldn't bother with that..I just use an ethernet cable like BFG says...XBL is definatly worth it though...go for it! :P

Yes it is possible, as they were saying. Your going to need an adapter (it costs 100$ for the official wireless g one), although I suggest you go with the linksys one specifically made for linksys routers. It costs like 45$, although is rare.

i have seen routers for 70$ at best buy
If you want help...
Screw you
If you make sigs...

Cool man. Sounds good, got my xbox recently, and halo 2. Now I need my XBL and since yours seems to work pretty well, I think mine would too.
