Photoshop text error

rite anyone help me, trying to put txt on a piece in photoshop and getting message
"could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from being initialized"
also i cannot save the piece
any ideas

Could be way off, but I was thinking maybe it's a ram issue? I really don't know for sure. How big is the piece you are working on, how much ram do you have, and what else is running on your machine at the same time?

That's really all I can think of myself.
