    Default quickie

Poster/flyer for my mates gig. Im not too sure on it. Lawl, were gona try and get as many people as possible, so i made the flyer kinda generalised (theyre a grindcore band, so a grindcore style poster wouldnt get many people in)

Need loads of work, ill probably make 5v's over the next week. Anyways, around 30mins in photoshop

Use the greenish-blue and tan-yellow for the text... blue against the red-violet aint working, and text is hard to read

rest is great im tempted to rotate it more to the right though and make the word STEVE bigger and OF smaller, right half of layout is a bit unrefined.

great work mate, great color scheme

Rob, it looks absolutely fantastic. The layout is just great. Just spend your time making it alittle glossy, with some nice sparkly dazzle effects and you'd have a world class poster.

Check out http://can.deviantart.com/ as a reference. He does amazing work, and in a very similar style to what I think you're going for.

    SICK.
Great colors, love the glossy-shinyness. Awesome 3D work.
Only qualms is the Middle of the C looks a bit weird, and it looks like you forgot to make the H 3d cause of the shadow.

edit: ^ was for the 2nd, i didn't see the first, hah.

first is great, again great colors and text. not a fan of the text at the bottom though, and i think the image behind might look good if it's sharpened (maybe fade the sharpen a little bit). The pink at the bottom is a little strong though, maybe make the gradient a little softer at the bottom

Yeah, I might manually add the highlight on the H instead of the green block thats there.
