I see your point, however if you look, there is composition.

The twigs lead your eyes in from the left
The empty space on the right forces your eyes to the left

Both leading to the bug. =) Just because its camoflauged doesnt mean you dont look at it.

I don't think it's obvious enough, maybe enhance it a little with more editing? Make some areas darker, some brighter and stuff like that?

Nice work.
Without looking at all the other comments, I was able to spot the bug immediately.
I like it, some people just dont look at art long enough to get it sometimes. (not saying anything about people here, just experience of going to art shows and such.)
