well for flash obviously you need the flash program but it's becoming essential for web design almost if you want to compete of course with others, there's lots of tutorials and free trials of the program you can use, to buy though it'd cost i think around $200 for the whole dreamweaver and freehand and all the other macromedia made products though i'm sure no one here care's about buying really so there's tonnes of places to download it from XD like a p2p
