Sorry if I am a bit off on the colors here, I'm trying to rework this new monitor and I'm not sure how well it is going . Maybe, to tone down on all the green, make the header image more greyscale rather than green. Even a little bit of a green hue could be pretty win.

I'd also have to agree with the body stuff. Leave the Recent News and About the green color, but for the Loren Ipsum text try making it a tad more gray.

Maybe try out the background without the line gradient (upper-left). Ya know what I'm talking about? Take everything above with a grain of salt, I've been out of this whole deal for a while and might be getting back into it.
