Default Baileys! and a new camera

So today i woke up, as it is Christmas, with the pleasant surprise of a Rebel XT 350d, lol. But simply put, prolly the best christmas present EVER!

I was messin around with it today, after getting martin to explain everything to me, and i set up my light box and shot this. Didn't do a whole lot to this besides some post work.

I would love some CNC. Worth it to add it to dev art?

Very nice. only thing i want to mention is, that bottle isn't standing 100% upright. or is it just me?

apart from that i think it's ok

Probably it is,seeing that it is hard to get a bottle not to stand straight on the table/floor/whetever^^ I guess he just rotated his cam a couple of degrees

But I like the shot^^ How you got the glowy effet thingy around the bottle?

Don't take wide angle shots when shooting products. It gives a distorted and false view of the subject. Instead back off and zoom in a little. I also think it's a little bit dark. And the dodge/burn (if you used that) is a bit overdone. But I'm liking the lighting, just give it a little bit more light.

    Thanks guys.
Martin - Thanks for telling me I had no idea it distroted it, rob said something like that on my last photo to, i guess i should start zooming more.
Plemo- Thank you, It probably isn't. SInce the camera is new i dont have a tripod that will hold it's weight, and It's probably not 90 degrees.
Silent - Thanks, I used my borther bed sheet for the BG because i dont have any black posterboard. ANd the lighting from on top of the bottle light up the background kinda like that, and then it was just a matter of darkening and contrast on the glowy edges.
Coolman - Thanks, i don't have any otehr kind a bailey's since im only 14 :P, that's the kind my mom had on hand.

    Thanks for the input guys.
