This sig shows a lot of promise and some very good techniques. It's just that the style of art you have in the bg just doesn't flow with your phone. While this is just one thing, it's so vital that I almost wanted to give it a 6 . I mean you can make two great pieces of art, but that doesn't mean sticking them together they will look great.

Here's what I mean ( OOOOH NOOO ANOTHER RANT! LOL )
your bg's colors, motion, and style of brushing used are very nice and pleasing to look at. Your text "Nokia Music Edition: fits quite well, maybe a bit big, but still, you can make it work. Now what doesn't is the text to the left, it's soo subtle in comparison it just doesn't seem like it belongs. But the biggest thing in this sig is the phone. This phone is slick, new, digital, and it's color scheme is black, silver, white, and orange. You have only accented the orange which mean with just color alone nothing else really fits. The brushing is more of a grunge dirty or rough feel, and the phone is slick, to use the style of work you have in your bg you should also do more work with your phone to make it seem like it belongs in such an environment.

Also with new phones such as these that are all about new technology using a grungy background is really hard to work with. Again while your bg is good it just doesn't fit this render. Something with a light background smooth and elegant maybe? might be a lot easier to make this flow. You could also add my personal favorite TECH STYLE! lol.

Anway your techniques are good and overall idea shows potential, it just needs more work on making your viewers think that a phone belongs in that environment.

I can give you 6,7/10 too.. I'm not very big fan of black and dark sigantures. my bad. reaallyy nice using of the stock, great job there, but I dont like the text so much. also I can feel that something is missing. But dont know that. Maybe c4d or something that have glowing and for me its little too empty

First one is one of my favourites sig in GFXVoid.
Kinda low details in BG, but anyway it looks GREAT... 8,5/10

Second... OLD but still good I just love the text there Kinda monotinic colors here, but anyway 8/10
