wow, your shapes are perfect. maybe you should try adding more detail to the eyes and hair and stuff. the eyes in particular look over-simplified.

I can assure you, using the pen tool is very easy..
You dont have to 'Wish' you could use it, when it is really easy to learn.

Well, it's nice but the line below her eyes makes it look like she needs more sleep. The arms also look a bit "deformed". The right arm looks a bit wavy in the middle where the elbow is. Also, I can't tell if the left arm has an elbow because the part after the elbow looks fat and seems to be a part of a really huge hand. The guitar also looks really flat and is just a piece of card or something. The strap should be at the side of the guitar which is really thin right now.

Sorry if that's too much negative but really nice job on the outline though.
