I really like the use of the "Prince of Persia" style art. No, Prince of Persia didn't invent the light-to-dark and life-to-death profile, but they did emphasize it and it's the only thing I can compare it to. Maybe this image will help you understand:

Anyways, I love it! It uses said style and a dramatic, dark, and emotional scheme. The use of brush strokes is amazing, but theres only one tiny problem: I wish the "asdio" font matched the "life" and "death" font, as to connect or network the scheme throughout the signature, if you know what I mean. It's also a little hard to see "asdio," but that's okay.
