Yeh i would say the same thing,, but the brown planet and the red one look really nice. Cool bg, maybe some brighter - different stars? I like this, how long'd it take? Just needs a black pixel border. Even thoug most of it is black.. still needs one.

Also , quite a cool quote, you tink of it yourself?

I say the same.. think that saturn needs an outer/ or even inner/ glow on the ring...

The stars also need to be maybe brighter

Saturn and the red planet are too flat, they just look like coloured in circles, I also agree a glow would bring it out a bit.

    three things,

    1. spherize your planets, and if you did, do it some more, make it really noticable

    2. make sure your rings dont have anything like the "dent" that yours have right now, should all be perfectly round and almost symmetrical

    3. Take your brush tool, and like a 3 px round brush with the fade (where it goes out gradually on the outside) and then play with the brush presets, mess with dynamics and the opacity jitter and what not to creat some cool stars and even a ring around a planet. it really does look good

but other than those three things, great job, especially for your first attempt.

i dont mean this to be harsh at all, it is just so you can become as good as possible and continue to improve your skills. good luck, and great job.
