Manip?

I've seen alot of "Manips" and they all really look tight. But I really have no clue what one is. When I see one... a few seconds later I see one that is totaly opposite of the one I just saw. So could someone explain what an Manip is and the basics of making one?

manip is short for Manipulation. So basically, what you do to make one is take an image, and distort it to your liking.
