so if i took one of en-tyrales pieces and one of strukts pieces blended them together thats not ripping? cause thats pretty much wut you ppl are doing and that font remark was just stupid, what would dafont.com be fore then? to download them and use for papers and essays? think about things before you speak

dude, ur thread is ' some of my RENDERS ' ... anyway ripping from DA is quite a crime u know. we all know its just a sig, but at least u credit them if u take from them.

No it's not stupid it's just I'm saying that you'll find it difficult to make certain things without using other peoples work.

Now if the artists didn't want there stuff to be used my other people why didn't they watermark them, invisible watermark or if they were that concerned they shouldn't post them on the net to begin with.

Again though as I said I'm not taking credit for the images and I'm not making any money out of the images used, plus maybe people should stop reacting as if it was there work that was getting posted.

That's funny, even in Deviant arts own terms of service it says 'taking credit for a piece or work with little or no changes is ripping' However, it must be noted that rendering an image is not a 'little change.' While you're not drawing it yourself you're completely changing the dynamic of the image, I mean if it didn't have a background it wouldn't need to be rendered, now would it? :lol: Get a clue.

Also, about 'dafont' it's funny you should mention a site that condones copy write infringements. I mean, really - Do you think the 'famous' fonts in that section have 'written permission' from the commercial industries that make them? Give me a break. Also, take a look at the Dingbat category, think they made all of them and put them in a .tff file? **** outta here.

And that my friend, is some clever play with wording. We both know he didn&#39;t mean he drew them and cut the bg&#39;s himself, taking things outta context don&#39;t help an argument.

Anyways, the people at DA have a serious stick up their collective asses. I mean, you gotta wonder, the kids that have their 3d work taken, you think they own the programs they used to make the renders? Kind of ironic if you think about it. :lol: I think everyone that registers at DA should HAVE to provide a receipt, or bill of sale for the programs used in the making or their digital art. **** outta here with 11 million deviants.

Right to sum up, it&#39;s ok to cut out images from wallpapers and other sites but if that piece of work was posted on the magical site of DA then it&#39;s wrong.

Your probably sitting there using your illegal copy of Photoshop (plus all the other illegal software) listening to your downloaded mp3&#39;s yet you start to get annoyed when I cut the background out of someone else&#39;s work.

Plus I didn&#39;t even get that image from DA which is the funny thing.

I&#39;m not going to comment any further, cos I&#39;m right and your wrong the sooner you see that the better.
