    the preview, with the exception of metals brushes.... i just go and download his no matter how crappy the preview....

    everything matters to me....but most important is will they work in Photoshop 7....I see no reason to upgrade, I don't need the tools that cs or cs2 make new...but that just me

    maker....i love metal's brushes ..
    and the preview..if im looking 4 one the preview gives me immediatle an impression 'bout the brush..

    Maker + preview. the quantity puts me off if theres too many, cos say they do 50 brushes the 1st couple may be god ones, but they may get tired and start to make less quality brushes.
    My fav amount of brushes is 10-15

    I'm with the majority on this. the preview is what counts most. if there are a lot of brushes in the set that's a big plus but since I create combined brush-sets every now an' then anyway it's not that big a factor.

    depends...unknown man def needs a sexy preview....a designer like metal tho....no preview needed...i just dl them
