Nice job, but i think you could have made this alot better, adding mood with some dodge and burn, eg, try to intensify the mood in it a bit,

I think a darker, more moody version of this would look pretty cool, maybe colourize the flower to a more crimson colour, to add to the effectiveness of the piece with the poem - if you do, dont go for the easiest route for this - use your imagination, layer masks, brushings etc
