Kind of a newb question but when i use my pen tool... and make paths... it automatically fills in with colors. Lets say after 3 anchor points it already fills in color... which i dont want. I want to close my path first and Fill Path manually. Ne help would be appreciated... tks.

Edit: Also... if ne ones seen Ideals Vector Video tut... when he goes to make a dotted line with the pen tool... theres a option that he has to change Brush Tip or somethin. I have CS2, and i think hes got 7.. so what can i do? lol. Btw when he uses his pen tool nothing changes. When i use my pen tool... it makes a new shape. That could be somethin wrong... tks.

    Yeah, here you go:

If you cant read text it says use the icon on the left i have pointed to

that makes it not fill in automatically.

Actually Fedex that isn't right, thats just one option for what "mode" of pen tool you want (i.e. freeform etc.)

You want to click this button:

After making your shape, right click and click make selection, then fill. Personally, I find it easiest to work with selections.
