i was wondering if anyone knew a way to draw 1 pixel wide lines with the pencil tool using just the keyboard arrows (as opposed to the mouse which is less accurate). i have searched all over and cant find a keyboard shortcut to do something like this. i know that shift will make a straight line but i want to go beyond that. any help would be appreciated.

I just make a selection with the rectangle tool.

Oh, and if you have zooming in and out, go to window> new window or something like that so you can have one zoomed in, and the other full view.

if you have two windows, do both get updated at the same time? if so that would be realy handy. Been thinking of getting two monitors and if I did, then I could realy use that feature.

yes, they do both get updated at the same time. you could always use the "navigator" window as well if you wanted.
