Chain Of Thought

Description:
I don't like this. It's not up to my usual standards (I don't think) and I don't even really like the concept behind it. It's meant to represent the thought processes that run through people's minds when they are sat down, waiting. In this instance, the person is waiting for a bus... I didn't want to make the waiting part too obvious, but I think I did. The "Chain Of Thought" on the right hand side is a spontanious thought chain I thought of when I needed it... As you can see, I started with image, and got to death.

The circles are not meant to be abstract, I want to see if you can guess what they are.

Give hard criticism, my graphical skills need to be woken up, they've dosed off.


Please note:
It's meant to be simple.
It's meant to be monotonous.
It's meant to have no shadows.
I know some of the lighting is off a little.


Technical Jargon:
Time - 2 hours.
Programmes - \/
-Photoshop 7 = Base shading, text, layout, resizing.
-Painter IX = Sketch, outline, shading blending, extra colour.

If its meant to have no shadows, why are there some on the figure?


Not a bad piece, however the anatomy is off on his arm and leg, I like what your doing with this though, keep working at it?

I've seen some of your work on DevArt and think its much better than this - not that this is bad, just needs more work.
Would you fancy doing a collaboration some time?

By no shadows I meant no shadows on the floor... And like I said, it's not up to my usual standards.

Like seki said.. The anatomy of the arm is a bit off.. But I like the shading on the whole thing.. Nice style.. The 1st thing that came to my mind when I saw the circles are chains.. :P.. The chain of thought on the right hand side is a nice touch.. I like this one..
