Thread: light study

    quick light study i did in 3 mins :P didnt have tiime to do more, had to get ready for school and such <_<



    no resizse, hard brush only

    did a little more .. made a neck took like hmm 5 mins :P pretty basic... no source lol

    did a little bit more, too 20 mins but i touched some other things up also.

    I think that the little shine on the neck part (between chin and collar section) doesnt look right. The light is coming from the other side and its a large lightsource so the shadows/shines would be softer (though the shines depend on the surface/material) so that wouldn&#39;t be there. The small luster on the collar looks fine though. The rest of it looks pretty good.

    Being that I&#39;m working on lighting techniques/concepts in my 3d work, I thought I&#39;d do my own light study today. Heres mine:



    I just did a sphere though. I was focusing more on how the light bounces off of the sphere and the flat surface. I need to do another (or add onto this one) to practice radiance.

    i was trying to do more complex light source.

    its hard to see without a background and such, there&#39;s more than one lightsource in this thing thats why i put " no source "
