Are you talking to me? Cos if so then you've got the wrong end of the stick! I'm not addicted, I do it for fun and entertainment the same as you.

I started smoking weed at 16, I smoked almost everyday until I was about 22. My entire neighborhood got high, weed, acid, shrooms some did coke once in a blue moon. All of my friends turned out fine and now have good jobs, houses and families. One works in the mayors office another is a cop and another one is an accountant (just to name a few). So this whole stereotype of people that smoke weed are losers and lazy is nonsense.

I haven't smoked weed in almost 10 years although all of my friends still do. Shit man Bill Clinton smoked weed and he became the president. As a matter of fact our current president George Bush used to be an alcoholic and a well known coke head. So much for the theory that if you do drugs you''ll be bagging groceries.

I know exactly how people act when they get addicted to cannibis... Some of my former friends are part of that culture now. They've moved on to harder drugs, like pills and cocaine, and even things like LSD, and yeah, they are all drop-outs. I know that I am fine as I am, and I am completely under control at all times. If I start to see a slip in behaviour, or grades, or anything at all, I will stop, but it's been fine for ages now and I can't see myself falling down.

so long as you keep it that way i have no problem, i have just seen it happen way to many times. at least you acknowlege it, many don't.

Who said I can't have fun without smoking? I can and I do. I also return the statement to all people who drink socially or smoke cigarettes.
I was just saying there are better alternatives than smoking in my opinion. and i agree with you with the 2nd part, though it doesn't apply to me, i haven't smoked anything in my life, and plan to keep it that way.

drinking.. well college of course :P he who does not drink in college does not live

no i was not refering to you o mighty stoner XD haha jk. No i was addressing those who believe that only addicts smoke the j.

Madball, good call on that, forgot to bring all that up.

Who said you had to be in college to drink? Cause I'm livin' and I'm not in college!

Why do we have to attack one another? Why can't we just agree to kick the crap out of emo kids on sight?

O well, it's time for me to go do some heroin and coke since I'm a complete addict and weed is the gateway drug to satan.(if you don't understand this is a joke...then...christ I don't even know what to do with you)

    NICE1,

i been smokin weed since i was 13. it aint harmed me in no way

a lot of people who get addicted to smoking throw their lives away. if you haven't seen it happen before, you're lucky. i've seen people move out from their parents, live out of their friend's house, no money, no job, no school, never heard from them again. don't know why anyone would want to take the chance
lmfao, this isnt crack mate  u have simply been brainwashed by schools and the government im afraid to say, u associate any drug with 'falier'.. 'lives ruined'.. 'drop out' take the shit out of ur eyes mate gimmie ur adress and ill send u a 5th in a jar of coffee, se what ull be saying then

    and also..

there is no way u can be phisicly(cant spell kthx) addicted to cannabis... no way..it isnt like nicotine, or heroin, there is no phisical needing of the drug.

.. u can become mentaly dependant on it... but it is all in the head, its 'want' more than a 'need'

Dont go on about something when u dont know what ur talking about

for your information, one of my friends in grade school who used to live near me went to high school with me for 2 years before he took up smoking weed. but the end fo first simester soph year he was out of high school completely. being a senior now myself, it's been two year since, and he hasn't changed. he moved out of his parents' house and lives with one of his friends. he comes into my work occasionally and is so fried it's not even funny.
not everyone gets like this, obviously, but you should be aware of the fact that it does happen.

so shut the **** up about not knowing what i'm talking about.

    3)
The World Health Organisation suppressed a report which said cannabis was safer than alcohol or tobacco, it has been claimed.
    * * * No evidence that it led to a decline in mental health
    * * * Nothing to suggest it was addictive. In fact 90% of those who had tried the drug had since quit
    * * * Even heavy smoking of cannabis does not impair the function or capacity of the lungs
It said researchers had found marijuana smoke did not lead to blocked airways or emphysema or impact on lung function and the drug was less addictive than alcohol or cigarettes.

Dr Roger Pertwee: 'Very little evidence of long term harm'
