I don't know if this is a stupid question or not, but how do you save actions in PS7. When I click that triangle thing at the top right of the palette I can see a "save actions" options, but for some reason I can't click it. And when I look in the PS folder I can't find the action that I just made either, or am I just looking in the wrong folder.

In ps you have the abilty to record what you've done & play them back and it does it all for you, these are called "actions". They're extremly useful for wirting tuts...

I've already tried looking in the help section but it was no help. I already know how to make and use actions, and the action that I made is still there when I use PS.

What I want to do is actually save a file of the action so that I will be able to bring it to a different computer or save it onto disk in case I have to format my computer. I done this before with an action I made at school and brought the file home, but I just can't remember how I did it.

Ryzee - Yes, the action was highlighted. I clicked on the action I wanted and went to the menu but the save actions option wasn't available.

EDIT: I just figured out how to do it, seems like you have to highlight the "set" that the action is in and save the whole "set". That's why I wasn't allowed to save it before because I only highlighted the single action. Thank you to everyone that tried to help me.
