One thing before I comment on you stuff, Try not to post two things in the same post, as it makes it much harder for the average reader to give good constructive critisicm on the work that you have made. Unfortunately, with the rules here at CX, there is not way around that, so i will comment on each individualy.

The firs one. The colors that are on the bulb things -that I am somewhat unsure of what they are - are a bit odd in choice, and in my opinion, clash against the one toned black for most of the image. Now, another thing that I can see is that these bulb things are a bit sharp inside. I dont know if that it what you were aiming for, but they seem to have an organic, smooth, calm feel to it, that needs smoothness. It is good that you put the black tentacles above the bulbs and blurred them, which gives this a very good image. Please not that at this point, I am assuming that this piece of work is computer generated, not a photograph. There is no real focal point to this image you have made. Normally, the sides would be somewhat blurry because of the lens, leaving the middle of the image crystal clear at th level of the bulb. The last think that I can see wrong with the image is the floor that the bulbs seem to be floating about. It is all good that the bulbs are that purple color, but to have this bg that is the same tones as the bulbs, really overwhelms me, and just makes things not work. Now, a good thing that I really like about this image is the overall abstract feel to this piece of art. You have made a piece that makes me wonder what the hell that think is, and it still ponders my head. Decent work on this one, but it could be improved.

The second one. Ok, This piece, I just want to say, is completely amazing. This piece has a lot of aspect of a really good image. You have the obvious focal point (the rainbow thing coming from his mouth) and the image is saying something. The second i saw this art the name Pablo Picasso came to mind. I am doing an art project on him in school, and some of his work is wuite similar to this idea. I just think that a small problem would be, the spiral bg things are drawing attention to me, so maybe blur them abit, and the forehead area of mister distored clow here is a bit sperical. Other than that, this is one of the best things I have seen in like a week. You got a fav from me on this one.

Please don't take this hard criticism to hard from me. It is only something that I like to do, that is helping you, whether you know it or not.

Follow your heart, keep your head high, and stride with pride.

roofus you are a rare type of person man, I love your CnC and I really appreciate your thoughts man. Your crit wasnt rude nor did it make me think that you were trying to mean whatsoever. To tell you the truth both of these were something I have never done before, the render for the first was very smooth, almost like glass so to match a bg with it in a black type of environment, really put a strain on my mind lol, imo it isnt the best but I plan on practicing more on this type of depth, using blur and what not. The second was a concept art that basicly represents the good and bad of a Carnival, like being drunk, or the fun and laughter you get from the rides, then the problems that may occur when being with a date or having the worst day ever and just coming to the Carnival to release all that stress, so im really happy you liked that one. =)

Thx for the comment, as long as you keep giving good CnC like that man I will be more then happy to post some of my future work here and see what you think about it.
