Ok, you have yourself a decent signatre here.
The stock itself is not to oversharp, yet the rest of the sig if full of oversharpened edges. I understand that It was the effect you were going for, but I believe that for the stock to flow with the background, they need to be on the same page if you know what I mean. Now, look at the flow of the white spot on the bottom middle. It goes from its position, outwards in all directions on the signature, yet the bg is only going in one direction. Maybe try to make the bg flow with other parts of your signature next time.
I can see the red showing through on the stock, but there should be hints of yellew, and the peachy color of clouds skin showing through on the bg as well, even if it is hardly noticable.
Now, the text itself is not so great, but the placement of it is pretty good. If you look, there is no white in that part of the bg, but white everywhere else in the bg, so the white text takes the place of the white spots in the bg. The font choice for this is not the greatest though. Once again, back to the white blob bottom middle, where it is spreading outwards, maybe you could rasterize the text layer, and on a low opacity smudge with a scatter upwards on the text, giving it the matching flow of the white blob bottom middle.
good job, and nice effect here, I think that you accheived what you wanted, but the overall outcome was not infact superb, but indeed a good try.
Nice work.
