My thoughts on others brushes are they are there to be used. They are posted to be used, whats the use of an entire section of brushes on sites like da if the use of them is discouraged. I understand the whole arguement of originality and such, and thats a valid point. imo using others brushes for "enhancements" and things of that nature are completely fine, but when their entire bg is just brushing then they lose their appeal. if someone else's brush fits into your sig i say use it.

i totally agree with that right there.. and also theres some of us.. *cough* me...*cough* who cant even make decent brushes to use towards a sig. Honestly, if u look at most of my sigs, i either use Metal's brushes lol. or i use a few grunge off Da... if there was a decent tutorial on how to start making brushes, then this topic prolly wouldnt be here. All the better designers can make their own brushes..im not a noob to photoshop, i jus cant figure out exactly how to change opacities and stuff of brushes to make certain effects of the brush i guess. thats my opinion
