Default What program is this guy using?

Do you guys think that this was created inPS or Illustrator, or do you think this dude is creating things like this in a 3D modeling program?

Then I need it. Where can I get it? I thought that looked way too good to be PS, I mean it could probaby be done, but not so clean with a lot of work.

Ok, where can I get an affordable version of this? All the places I see want like $3500 for this program. I cannot afford that for one program and damn I thouhg CS2 was expensive.

Looks like Illustrator to me. You could easily make this in Cinema4D or 3DStudioMax however, this looks as though it was made in a 2D program such as Illustrator, and judging by the comments, I would think that's a pretty safe assumption.

Where can you get them for cheap? I have no idea, but I would STRONGLY suggest getting a legal copy of the program.
Although, you must know that just because you own the program, doesn't mean you'll be able to output great stuff. All programs take extensive practice to master.

Really you think that was made in Illustrator? How does make the highlights and stuff look so real? I have been using Illustrator for a long time and the only thing I can get to look as good as some of his logos (real looking) is colored sphere and that is by using things on Illustrator that most people have no clue about or do not know how to use and I am pretty knowledgeable in Illustrator. I don't know for sure but if that is Illustrator then he is extremely talented.

Illustrator, most likely. The rendering isn't in the style of a 3d program... you don't get highlights like that in max, and from what I know of c4d you don't get it in that either. (even if you did, it's an outside chance. Very few people use c4d.)

ya, i don't think it's a 3d program either, the material isn't one that seems likely - and c4d doesn't really have that kind of material capability, it may, but no one uses it for it - 3dsmax would be better, but all that for a logo? nah, just straight illustrator.

im with spluff, he knows his shit.
