The first on is nice, though i must agree it's over exposed. What did u do in the processing of this? it looks kind of vintage to me for some reason..

The second one was really..photoshoped. haha it's pretty blown out. I think I would prefer the grass in something a bit more close to it's natural color.

Overexposed is when there is too much light:P

When you shoot in a HIGH iso mode, 600-1200 or so, your image sensor in the camera is more sensitive to light.

Thats more then likely why your overexposed.

Don't bother to shoot over 400 ISO, it's not even worth it for most cases.

Like everyone said, these images are good. Bit over exposed, you could also work on some brightness and contrast, and some shadows and highlights.

Err, sometimes it's mandatory. Like lets say your shooting a basketball game in a gym. Well chances are lighting isn't good, and the people are moving fast, and your regular 400 ISO might not cover it. This is when using a higher iso can come in handy.

It's definitely a pain with digital cameras because the grain is sooo much more visible, but if it's necessary then you gotta do it.
