Asteroid Complex

I took a few days earlier last week to figure out how to create Asteroids in c4d. Finally figured it out and I'm really happy with the outcome.

I prefer the smaller version because my planets quality is a bit low.

Everything was made by me:
I used like 7-8 textures to make my planet and put them together in PS.
Asteroids were made in c4d.
Everything else was made with PS and some of it with my wacom tablet.

We allready talked about the astroids so you know what i would work on
hmm dunno how to explain but ill try, as said the stars is a bit overdone a bit to much and they are to close. About the astroid belt that is not done like i want it its takes alot of the realism off it when there is so few of them it looks good the big ones up front looks good but there should go many many more small ones behind em to make it more realistic.

Planet isnt bad at all its just a little boring colourwise ehm good job on the light behind the planet

Uh and a rule about space pieces!

The dark shadow of an item in space, is never darker than the darkest part of the sky.. which means that the shadows on the asteriods are to dark.. and actaually the dark side of the planet should also be a a bit more orange'ish as the rest of the sky is..
