Text is horrible whered you get that color? You should try using the color picker tool to get all of your colors.

The smudging isn't bad but it needs more detailed as you go scaled down and down until you get to a small 5 px brush. That wya you get lots of layers.

Needs more contrast and a light source.

I personally like the depth and blending.
dislike the text color and font, it distracts too much from the focal, and maybe you should add some C4D(s) to the bottom or anything to spice it up.
