I think it's much better, personally. I like the brighter red for the fan, but maybe the floweryness could be the same or a similar red? if you're going to run away with red, why not stick to it?it kind of looks on its own too much.
I like the brighter background too, personally. and i think the area to the right is very nicely done
EDIT: knew i meant to add something: The drop shadow is maybe too strong, too. did you use FX Drop Shadow or a brush?
