Evening Sky
Hm..finished a starfield I made like 2 years ago.
It's not great but I finally made something again.
The stock is from sxc.hu and the moon/sky is made from scratch in PS.
Does it look cool? good stuff/bad stuff? Pleas tell me

original stock: http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=download&id=1135370

hmm good Idea just needs to be worked on a little more, the ground part needs to be darker so it matches the sky cause it looks like day on the ground area and then like right to night, not bad at all tho
-
Really great, except for the lighting on the ground.
It looks off because of the sky and the stars.
Great effect of the stars however, and you did a great job of transforming the stock. :P

hm thanks guys.
i tried to make it darker but i thought it was to dark compared to the "bright" blue near the horizon. So I decided to make the whole iamge a lot darker(specially the blue near the horizon). Is this one better, or is it too dark?

oh crap, while uploading it got way darker than in photoshop. so my original version is like, much lighter
-
I would maybe lighten the bottom a little more, other wise it looks a lot better

Too much contrast on those stars pley, make them a bti harder to see its not always crystal clear skies, even in rural areas.
