suggestions?
Ok so my friend likes the film finding nemo, and her nickname is Dori (the dopey fish) She wanted a tag for a forum shes on, so these are what i have made so far, im not done with it yet, going to put something at the bottom of the render to make it flow/blend a little better.
v1:

v2:

Havent put text on them just yet, anyone have any suggestions on how to improve either of them abit? and which do you guys prefer?
-
I like the 2nd one but the left side is way to empty balance it man balance it. and like you said blending
-
i would try and keep it as colourful as possible rather than monoton like the 2nd version , and yeah the sig needs a focus or direction. Maybe make it look like the fish is moving across the sig, you could do this by duplicating the render and placing it behind the original render and lowering its opacity and do this a couple of times..

Yeah i was thinking about that catch, and yes fur i agree that there need to be something there, but i really cant think for my life of what.. Thanks for the input guys, anyone else?

V2 is the best, the colour is much better.
A bit too much empty space on that other side, that's what messes up the composition.
Blending is pretty good, could have some more depth.
Lighting is funny as well, it's a bit scattered.
Text would help this a lot by balancing out the bad space.
Nice work!

-
Well fur, thanks for the input again, i havent decided what i wanted to do with the text yet, so i just kept it simple, its just there for placement to see how much room i would have left to work with/improve on
