I like the idea a lot. It really does sum up chaos for me but I reckon you should make the glass and the background stand out as a different things because it seems to be a blue background with a crack. I suggest something like a really slight fog near the impact zone so it stands out. I don't know if that'll work but that needs sorting out, imo because the glass, doesn't imply glass to me.
