I know what you mean Splinter, although I think that V2 shows the effects much better, that's why it's my favourite.

I prefer V1 simply because V2 is soo dark that it doesn't give you anywhere else to look. It sounds weird I know - but at the moment you got the focal and nothing else. V1 had the obvious focal, which grabbed your attention straight away, then you could look at the BG. The V2 just makes me not wanna.

IMO you could darken the bg a tad in V1, but i like v1 better. Cuz of the effects under the board. Gives a sick flow imo

you should give the darker part-layers a mask and give them a b/w gradient. The top of the sky is soooooooooo much better, but the clouds are currently too dark.

It could have been better, u see make him sprout from the clouds or smthing like that. V1 is oblviously better, but i guessthe c4d work is overdone on the board.
