    Default Bond, James bond.

Here's a sig I made following firescorpio's tutorial. I'm not new with photoshop, however I am new to the whole signature scene, and feedback is welcomed.

    So, CnC

Crop it on that left side, it gets too empty.
I like the effects, but some of them seem very gritty and over sharpened.
Good colours, and I would add your name to it to make it yours.
Nice job, and it's pretty good for being new!

Indeed, not bad for a first! some cnc to help: Change/remove the "beam" to the right. It destroys the render. The fire(I suppose) coming out of the gun doesnt look any good aswell, try blurring it or revamp it in total. The background looks pretty good for now, like the colors Try removing the border

    Anyone help with my text?

Also, do we do classing here @ gfxvoid? I've seen that on other forums before. ex: Beginner, Moderate, Intermediate, Semi-pro, pro.

As in ratings of how good people are?
    Not really.
I have another suggestion: His hand holding the gun is all blurred. Un-blur it, because it will add a lot of depth to the whole sig.
Add a light source near the end of the gun, at the top, because of the way light is shining off his head.
For text? You can never go wrong with a themed font, so try the 007 Font.

Thanks ptka. I'll get on it now, and post V3 ASAP. You guys here might want to consider the ranking system aswell. I'll see if I can dig up a link to a classing thread on annother website.

Bah, I've looked around, and can't find a classing thread. I remember that globalsigalliance had one before they tanked.
The basic idea is: Users submit a portfolio of their best work to a special section on the forum.
A panel of mods reviews the portfolio, and ranks the user in one of the following classes: Beginner, Moderate, intermediate, semi-pro, and pro.
It worked really well at GSA, and I'd love to see it here to. Also helps show what you really think the skill in a sig is, by saying "This sig is a high moderate IMO, becasue...."

Thanks for the idea, I'll bring it up with the mods.
As for you adding more versions, YAY! I will be happy to look at your progression, that's what I love about CnC'ing when people add new versions and we can see improvement! Great stuff. :P
And please try not to double post, just edit your previous one, thanks.

Ha, no problem about the double post.
And the text looks great, nice placement in my opinion and you picked the right one.
Take a big, 200px circle brush, make sure it's white and then make a new layer above everything and put on spot right above the gun. Move it around and erase parts as necessary until you have a good light source, then this sig will be complete.
