Yeah the brushes are overdone in my own opinion, (yes im critisizing my own work, I do it often =D) and I need to trim up around the tree so the grass behind it which shouldn't be affected isn't. I may also try to get away from the grunge border thing, depends on the mood I'm in I guess.

EDIT: Also, tell me what you think about me adding a lighting effect around the tree, sorta like a spotlight from the forest canopy or something of the sorts. I think it could go either way (good/bad) so that's why I didn't incorporate it into this version of the peice.
